A clearly defined assignment for editing your website pages.
Enquiries and acceptance
An inquiry does not buy a service or confirm a booking. Work begins after the proposal has been accepted and the agreed initial payment and complete material have been received. The proposal identifies the contracting service provider and confirms the pages, requirements, price, applicable taxes and dates.
Content and scope
The assignment is limited to the identified pages, total word count, editing depth and revision rounds. You supply accurate approved facts and content you have permission to use. Unclear details are flagged. Adding new pages, substantially expanding sections or changing the brief requires a written update accepted before additional work.
Revisions and approval
Send one consolidated set of comments per round. Included revisions refine wording, headings, emphasis and order within the accepted brief. Our own editing errors are corrected without an additional fee. Your team approves facts and any specialist claims before publishing the revised content.
Delivery and rights
Edited content is delivered in the agreed editable format, identified by page. Usage rights and the treatment of copyright are confirmed in the proposal. Rights in third-party material remain with their owners. The service does not change your website code, design or content system.
Timing and resolving issues
Published turnaround periods are indicative; the proposal confirms the schedule and review windows. If material or feedback is delayed, dates are reviewed with you. Identify a passage and the agreed requirement by email if an edit needs attention. An appropriate correction or other resolution will be considered. Editing does not guarantee a search ranking or commercial result.
Payments and applicable rights
See the Payment Policy and Refund Policy for the proposed payment and cancellation arrangements. Applicable Canadian and Ontario law governs the agreement to the extent specified in the accepted proposal. No term excludes mandatory consumer, privacy or other rights that apply to the transaction.
